Fort Washington Golf & Country Club
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society.
Fort Washington Golf and Country Club is a private golf course located in 10272 N Millbrook Ave Fresno, California, Unites States of America. There are around 18 total holes in the course. This is a narrow course with many eucalyptus trees lining the fairways. There is a defined cut of rough on the course, so shot accuracy is at a premium. The course was built on hilly terrain and has extremely undulating greens. It was redesigned by Robert Baldock in 1956. The club has been a past host to the old Ben Hogan Tour.
It was built in 1923 by the designer Willie Watson having the green grass of the poa annua type and the fairways grass of the bent type with water hazards available. There are around 51 to 60 sand bunkers. The use of spikes in the course is not necessary. And also walking is allowed.
Fort Washington Golf and Country Club is one of the superior and premier golf courses that offer the best features and the best hotels at the best prices. One can start their first golf experience here and can achieve all the expectations for the sport in all dimensions along with immense sporting abilities.
