Evergreen Golf Club
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society.
The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, Healthland, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive.
Evergreen Golf Club is a golf course located in Alabama. It is a private course, having 18 holes and is a five star rated golf course. The terrain on this course is very hilly. As a result you can look forward to many uneven lies in the fairways. Numerous trees and sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design as well. This club was built in 1930 and has a Bermuda grass type. It mostly suffers from water hazards. It comprises of 11 to 20 sand bunkers.
Their goal is not to merely make the green but also to improve the quality of the game. They focus to exceed the needs and expectations of their members, guests and landlords by maintaining superior golf facilities and providing exceptional service at a great value.
