Eufaula Country Club
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society.
The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, Healthland, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive.
Eufaula Country Club is a well known golf course situated in Eufaula, Alabama. It is a private golf course with 18 holes and was built in 1989. This mature course has an excellent layout. There are several large pine trees that can alter your shots, and a few lakes come into play on the course. One hole requires a shot over water. Eufaula Country Club goal is not just to make the green, it's to improve the quality of the game and to exceed the needs and expectations of their guests, members and landlords.
