Encinitas Ranch Golf Course
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society. Encinitas Ranch Golf Course is located on 1275 Quail Gardens Dr Encinitas, California. Encinitas Ranch Golf Course was built in 1998 designed by Cary Bickler. This course is public with 18 holes. This course features ocean views from fifteen holes and is considered one of the most beautiful courses in San Diego County. There is some water and an average amount of sand in the design. Natural features include red sandstone bluffs that emphasize the lay of the land, and the native vegetation that weaves in and around the course. Wind rows of mature eucalyptus and Torrey Pine trees border some of the fairways, as do the flower fields that remain in production. The course is very playable, except when the wind blows or when playing from the back tees. The signature hole is number 14, a 380-yard, par 4, which plays into a valley. The wind, which blows from left to right, is a factor on this hole and if your tee shot is hit too far right the second shot will come to rest on a severe uphill lie. A double-ended driving range and practice area has been developed to house public practice as well as a golf teaching school. The greens grass type is Bent and fairways grass type is also Bermuda. The water hazards are available. The sand bunkers ranges between 41 to 50. In Yardage Markers, there is Kirby Marking System. Earliest call for tee time is at 6:30 am with training facilities. The dress code is shirt and shoes required. The use of Spikes is not necessary. Rental Clubs are available and walking is allowed on the course. It is open for guests. The course is designed specifically to improve the quality of the game.
