El Rancho Verde Country Club
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, Healthland, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive. El Rancho Verde Country Club is a famous golf course that is located in the Rialto suburb of California. It is a public golf course that has 18 holes and is extremely well maintained with a great deal of variation. It was built in the year 1960 and designed by a renowned designer Harry Rainville. The course features include Bent grass type with 21 to 30 sand bunkers and 250, 200, 150, 100 yard markers. This course features tree-lined fairways and sand bunkers coming into play around the greens and on the fairways. All the fairways are narrow, and the greens are speedy but putt true. The wind kicks during the day time, coming through the canyon, making proper club selection an important aspect of the game.
Open but challenging, El Rancho Verde Country Club offers a challenging round of golf for players of all skill levels. The clubs aim is not just to make the green but it is to improve the quality of the game, to exceed the needs and expectations of their guests and members by maintaining superior golf facilities and providing exceptional service at a great value.
