Eastlake Country Club

Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society.

The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, Healthland, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive.

Eastlake Country Club is a famous golf course that is located in Clubhouse Dr, Chula Vista of California. It is a public golf course that has 18 holes and is extremely well maintained with a great deal of variation. It was built in the year 1991 and designed by a renowned designer Ted Robinson. The course features include Bent grass type with 51 to 60 sand bunkers and electronic range system of yard markers.

This course is wide open, and each cart has a range master, which can compute the distance to the green from anywhere on the hole. Six different ponds come into play on six different holes. The greens are slightly sloped, a few are elevated, and four are multi-tiered. The fairways vary in width, the greens vary in size and undulation, and the terrain varies between flat and rolling.

Ever-changing and ever-challenging, Eastlake Country Club provides a memorable experience for golfers of every skill level. Their goal is not just to make the green but it is to improve the quality of the game, to exceed the needs and expectations of their guests and members by maintaining superior golf facilities and providing exceptional service at a great value.
