Dove Canyon Country Club
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, Healthland, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive. Dove Canyon Country Club was built in 1991 designed by Jack Nicklaus. Dove Canyon Country Club is located on 22682 Golf Club Dr Dove Canyon, California. The course type is private with 18 holes. This long course was built between two canyons. The most difficult hole is number 18 because of its length and the waterfall that comes into play. There are many changes in elevation throughout the course, and all the tees and greens are elevated. The greens grass type is Bent and fairways grass type is Bermuda. The water hazards are available. The sand bunkers ranges between 51 to 60. Yardage Markers ranges from 100 to 200 and sprinkler heads marked. Earliest call for tee time is at 6:30 am with training facilities. The use of Spikes is not necessary. Rental Clubs are available and walking is allowed on the course. The course is designed specifically to improve the quality of the game.
