Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, Healthland, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive.
Diablo Hills Golf Course located on 1551 Marchbanks Dr Walnut Creek, California. Diablo Hills Golf Course was built in 1968 and designed by Robert Muir Graves. This course has no water hazards, but many sand bunkers are spread throughout the course. The greens grass type is Bent and fairways grass type is Blue. The sand bunkers ranges between 21 to 30. The yardage markers range from 100 to 200. Earliest call for tee time is at 6 am with training facilities are available. The use of Spikes is not necessary. It is open for guests and rental clubs are available, also walking is allowed on the course.
