Much of the natural desert plants and vegetation have been left in place, adding to the difficulty of the course.
It was built in 1989 and is fully covered with Poa Annua Grass and Tifdwarf Grass. The course features include green grass type of the bent grass category and fairways grass type of the Bermuda grass category. It is with 200, 150, 100 yard markers. It is a public golf course that has 18 holes and is extremely well maintained with a great deal of variation.
