Deer Run Golf Course
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society.
Deer Run Golf Course is a prominent golf course built in 1980. It is situated in Moulton, Alabama and was designed by a well known designer, Earl Stone. It is a public golf course with 18 holes. The course's terrain is either flat or hilly and is open. The greens are medium in size and speed. There are water hazards that come in play on 8 holes, including five on the front nine. The round concludes with a 426-yard, par 5, featuring a narrow fairway with a water hazard down the left side. Tee times are only reserved for the weekends and holidays. The course had 18 eighteen holes in 1991, after nine additional holes were designed and completed by Earl Stone.
