Crow Canyon Country Club
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, and Health land, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive. Crow Canyon Country Club is located in Danville, California. The course is private with 18 holes. The signature holes on this course are 6, a 196-yard, par 3 with a carry over water, and 18, a 400 yard, par 4. The greens are elevated but leveled, and water comes into play throughout the course. The terrain is hilly, and the narrow fairways are lined with trees. The course was built in 1976 by designer Ted Robinson. Greens Grass Type is Poa Annua Grass and Fairways Grass Type is Bent Grass. Water Hazards are offered by the club and Sand Bunkers range from 31 to 40. It also has a restaurant, snack bar, beverage cart and full bar. Products available for shopping are clubs, apparel and accessories. The club is having a surrounding area comprising of the Contra Costa County. Their goal is not to merely make the green but also to improve the quality of the game.
