Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Chesley Oaks is the famous golf course that is located in the Fairview suburb of Alabama State and off the County Road. It is a public golf course that has 18 holes and is extremely well maintained with a great deal of variation. It was built in the year 1996 and designed by a renowned designer Steve Plummer. The course features includes green grass type of the Tifdwarf category, with 1 to 10 sand bunkers, 200, 150, 100 yard markers and marked sprinkler heads.
 
Chesley Oaks is a Scottish links style course and is ideal for the average skill level. There are no forced carries or blind shots to slow rounds and frustrate beginning golfers. Open but challenging, this course is a north central Alabama favorite of golfers of all skill levels. Ponds come into play on four holes. The fairways and average sized greens are fully conditioned with a computerized irrigation system.
