Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society.
Chaparral Country Club is a private golf course located in Palm Desert, California, Unites States of America. The course has a total of 18 holes. This executive course has thirteen lakes that come into play on most holes. This was rated the most difficult executive course in California by the Southern California Golf Association. Ted Robinson named it the Little Monster.
The course was built in 1980 by the designer Ted Robinson. The greens grass and the fairways grass type is of the bermuda grass along with water hazards. There are around 41-50 sand bunkers in the course and the sprinkler heads yardage are marked. Chaparral Country Club does not have any type of dress code and discount.
