Cathedral Canyon Country Club
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society. Cathedral Canyon Country Club is a resort golf course located in Cathedral City, California, Unites States of America. The course has a total of 54 holes. This club offers three nine-hole courses that are played in three eighteen-hole combinations. The greens are slightly sloped, but considered by locals as among the best in the area. The fairways vary in width and you can see most of the greens from off the tee boxes. The newly-opened resort course was designed with the Scottish links-style in mind. The rough bordering all the fairways is very high. This course is not exactly a target course because it allows for mistakes, but ponds do come into play on a few holes. The Lakeview Course is a target course, forcing the golfer to hit over numerous hazards to small landing areas. Water hazards come into play on every hole. The Mountain-view Course is also a position course. The fairways have some hills that can cause uneven lies, but they are mostly flat. The signature hole is 7 on the Mountain-view Course. On this 423-yard course, par 4, anything less than a straight tee shot will land in a hazard. The tiered green is large and oval shaped, making it difficult to two putts. Cathedral Canyon Country Club is one of the superior and premier golf courses that offer the best features and the best hotels at the best prices. One can start their first golf experience here and can achieve all the expectations for the sport in all dimensions along with immense sporting abilities.
