Brookside Country Club

Golf is an outdoor sport, originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, Healthland, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive.

Brookside Country Club is located in Stockton, California, United States of America. It is a private golf course consisting of eighteen holes. This old traditional course features narrow fairways that are well defined by a high cut of rough. There are water hazards that come into play on several holes. The most demanding features on this course are the extremely difficult closing holes, number 16, 17, and 18, all requiring shots over, or alongside, water hazards. The greens are somewhat undulating and fast.

Brookside Country Club was built in the year 1991 and was designed by Robert Trent Jones II. The Course has a Bent Grass type for the Greens and a Winter Rye Grass type for the Fairways with Water Hazards and 51 to 60 Sand Bunkers.

Brookside Country Club’s goal is not just to make the green, but it is to improve the quality of the game. They desire to exceed the needs and expectations of their guests, members and landlords by maintaining superior golf facilities and providing exceptional service at a great value.
