Brighton Crest Country Club
Golf is an outdoor sport, originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, Healthland, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive. Brighton Crest Country Club is located in Friant, California, United States of America. It is Semi-Private Course consisting of eighteen holes. The Johnny Miller Pro Am was held here in April 1994. Yosemite National Forest is only 40 miles away. The course was built on the foothills resulting in undulating fairways. The signature hole is a 401-yard, par 4 number17, requiring a shot past a lake on the left side of the fairway. Brighton Crest Country Club was built in the year 1990 and was designed by Johnny Miller. The course has a Bent Grass type for the Greens and a Bermuda Grass type for the Fairways with Water Hazards and 21 to 30 Sand Bunkers. It has Yardage Markers of 200, 150 and 100 and marked Sprinkler Heads. Their colored Tees of Blue, White and Red have a Yardage of 6788, 6298 and 5198 with a slope gradient of 134, 129 and 124 for a course rating of 73.00, 70.00 and 71.20, respectively. Brighton Crest Country Club Training and Practice Facilities provide a Putting Green and a Chipping Area with a Teaching Professional. The wearing of Spikes is allowed. The Course is open to Guests and the Course is accessible for only the Gas Golf carts. There are homes on the Course and a Golf Community as well. Their goal isn't just to make the green, it's to improve the quality of the game.
