Bodega Harbour Golf Links

Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society.

The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, and Health land, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive.

Bodega Harbour Golf Links is located in Bodega Bay, California. The course is semi-private with 18 holes. This links-style course offers a panoramic view of the ocean from each hole. There are several uphill and downhill shots and many irregular lies due to the hilly terrain. The last three holes play over a fresh-water marsh, which represents the course's only water hazard. Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed the back nine, which was added in 1987. There are separate green fee rates for Friday. A warm-up center is also available.

Bodega Harbour Golf Links has Poa Annua grass greens grass and fairways grass is Bent grass with water hazards. The sand bunkers are up to 91 to 100. The yardage markers are of 200, 150, 100 and sprinkler heads marked. Earliest call for tee time is 7 am. The driving range is not available and no specific dress code. It has restaurant, snack bar and full bar. The course is designed specifically to improve the quality of the game.
