Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, and Health land, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive. Blue Skies Country Club is located in Yucca Valley, California. This course features several mature trees that can alter your shots. The severely-sloped greens are fast and the fairways are narrow. The club was built in 1950 designed by Roscoe Smith. Greens grass type is Bent grass and fairways grass type is Bermuda grass. The sand bunkers are up to 51 to 60 and yard markers of 200, 150, and 100. Earliest call for tee time is 6 am. The driving range is not available. The training facilities are putting green, chipping area and dress code is not necessary. Discounts are offered to Twilight, Junior, and Senior. The carts are electric, course access. The course has restaurant, snack bar and full bar. The course surrounding area is San Bernardino County.
