The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, and Health land, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive.
Bigfoot Golf & Country Club has located in Willow Creek, California. The course was built in 1960. This is semi private golf course with 18 holes. This course is structured very well with several features. This course is well maintained, easy to walk, and very scenic. There are views of the coastal mountain range from just about every hole. The course is mainly open, but some of the tree-lined fairways are narrow. There are additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.
It fully covered with bent grass. Bigfoot Golf & Country Club has earliest call for tee time at 8:00 am. It has training and practice centre with some advance points. Training facilities include putting green and no dress code is available for players. For junior players discount system is available. Bigfoot Golf & Country Club surrounding area includes Humboldt County.
