Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. Bermuda Dunes Country Club is the famous golf course that is located in the Bermuda Dunes suburb, off Adams Street of California. It is a private golf course that has 54 holes and is extremely well maintained with a great deal of variation. It was built in the year 1960 and designed by a renowned designer William F. Bell. The course features includes green grass type of the Bermuda category, with 41 to 50 sand bunkers and 200, 150, 100 yard markers.
This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. These mature courses have some water coming into play on a couple of holes. There are many old trees lining the fairways. The PGA, Professional Golfers’ Association Tour's Bob Hope Chrysler Classic is held here annually. The newest nine hole course was designed by Bob and Robert Baldock in 1986.
