Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. Becky Pierce Golf Course, located in Huntsville, Alabama, was built in 1956. Its designers are Denis Griffiths and Ron Kirby. Their grass type is Bermuda and this type of a course suffers generally from water hazards. The sand bunkers ranges from 41 to 50 where as yardage markers ranges from 100 to 200. Previously known as the Huntsville Municipal Golf Course, this course actually rewards the conservative golfer. Water hazards in the form of ponds come into play on at least seven holes. The training facilities that are provided include putting green and teaching professional golf. Their on-site golf professional is Steve Robertson. It is also open for guests and rental clubs are available. Besides, bar and beer is available in restaurant and bars. The surrounding area of Becky Pierce is a county named Madison.
