Anniston Country Club

Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. It is an old-style course with a standard cut of rough bordering all the fairways. The course has been renovated twice over the years, once by Harold Williams, Senior and later by Ed Seay in 1975.

Anniston Course was built in the year 1909. The greens grass in the course is of tifdwarf grass type and the fairways grass in the course is of bermuda grass type with water hazards. There are 41 to 50 sand bunkers in the course. The yardage markers in the course are at 200, 150 and 100 yards. Training facilities are made available in the course.
