It is secluded and beautiful. The signature hole is number 1, a 580-yard, par 5, featuring an elevated tee that drops sixty feet to the fairway and a scenic view of the Sacramento River. Riverview Golf and country club was built in 1947. Its greens grass type is bent grass and fairways grass type is bermuda grass.
Few water hazards are available with 31 to 40 sand bunkers. The course also provides tee facility and its earliest call for tee time is six thirty. Training facilities like putting green, chipping area are provided. The on-site golf professional is Kim Thurman. Dress code is not applicable. The course provides privileges like restaurant facility, snack bar and full bar. The surrounding area of the course includes County Shasta. There are no homes and golf community on the course.
