Rio Bravo Country Club

Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society.

Rio Bravo Country Club is a private golf playing course located at Casa Club Dr Bakersfield, California, United States of America. It has 18 holes in total. The scenic course is located in a beautiful area. There are many strategically-placed trees on the course that can affect the golfer’s shots. The signature hole in the course is number 7, a 410-yard, par 4, which requires an approach shot over water that creeps up to the left front of the green. Guests are only allowed to play when accompanied by a club member.

The course was built in the year 1979 and was designed by Robert Muir Graves. The greens grass and the fairways grass in the course is of the bent grass type with water hazards. There are around 41 to 50 sand bunkers in the course. The training facilities made available in the course include the Putting Green, Chipping Area and Teaching Professional.
