Indian Palms Country Club

Golf is an outdoor sport, originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, Healthland, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive.

Indian Palms Country Club is situated at 48630 Monroe Street, Indio, California, United States of America. It is a Resort Course consisting of 54 holes. This club has undergone several name changes. First known as Cochran Ranch Golf Course, then to President's Club and Resort in 1998, and was recently changed to Indian Palms Country Club.

The club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. These courses are very difficult due to the small greens and narrow fairways. All three courses are desert-style designs, and were built on mostly flat terrain. The White or Mountain Course was built on the most rolling terrain, but there are plenty of level lies in the centers of the fairways. The Blue or Royal Course has water hazards coming into play on seven holes. It is also home to a John Jacobs Golf School. This Course features colored Tees of Blue, White and Red having Yardages of 6709, 6439 and 5859 with Slope gradients of 131, 119 and 119 for Course ratings of 72.70, 70.50 and 72.40, respectively.

Indian Palms Country Club was built in the year 1948 and was designed by Jackie Cochran. This Course has a Bent Grass type for the Greens and a Bermuda Grass type for the Fairways with Water Hazards and 1 to 10 Sand Bunkers. It has Yardage Markers of 200, 150 and 100.  Their training facilities provide a Putting Green with a Teaching Professional. Spikes are not to be worn and the Course is open to Guests. The Clubs are available on a rental basis. There is Course access for the Electric Carts and walking. There are Discounts provided for Twilight hours.

Their goal isn't just to make the green, it's to improve the quality of the game. They desire to exceed the needs and expectations of their guests, members and landlords by maintaining superior golf facilities and providing exceptional service at a great value.
