Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. Porter Valley Country Club Golf Course is a private golf course located in Singing Hills Northridge, California. This is a very scenic course that winds in and out of the hills and houses. The fairways are tree lined and plush, and the undulating greens are small and fast. Water comes into play on six holes. The wind plays a big part in being able to score well. This club also provides an athletic facility with a pool and tennis courts. The course was built in the year 1968 and was designed by Ted Robinson. It has Greens Grass Type of Bent Grass and Fairways Grass Type of Kikuya. It has Water Hazards and Sand Bunkers ranging from 31 to 40. It has Yardage Markers from 200, 150, 100 Yard Markers.
