It is a private golf course that is extremely well maintained with a great deal of variation. It was built in the year 1963 and designed by a renowned designer Bob E. Baldock. The course features include Bent grass type with 41 to 50 sand bunkers and only 150 yard markers. Oakdale Golf & Country Club course has small greens that are well bunkered. The course is located in the hills, so the terrain is undulating. The wind kicks up in the daytime, thus, making proper club selection an important aspect of the game. The course also provides sufficient variety of terrain to challenge even the most advanced golfer.
