Golf is an outdoor sport, originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, Healthland, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive. Mountain Meadows Golf Course is situated at 1875 Fairplex Drive, Pomona, California, United States of America. It is a Public course consisting of 18 holes. This course is very hilly and strenuous to walk. The fairways are semi-narrow and in great shape. The greens are large and undulating. This is one of the courses managed by the American Golf Corporation. This Course features colored Tees of Blue, White and Red having Yardages of 6440, 6113 and 5519 with Slope gradients of 131 and 128 for a Course rating of 70.40 and 69.00, respectively. Mountain Meadows Golf Course was built in the year 1975 and was designed by Ted Robinson. This Course has a Bent Grass type for the Greens and a Poa Annua grass type for the Fairways with Water Hazards and 51 to 60 Sand Bunkers. It has Yardage Markers of 200, 150 and 100. Their training facilities provide a Putting Green and a Chipping Area with a Teaching Professional. The wearing of Spikes are allowed. The Course is open to Guests and Discounts are available for Twilight hours and Junior and Senior players. The Clubs are available on a Rental basis. There is Course access for the Electric Carts and walking. Their goal isn't just to make the green, it's to improve the quality of the game.
