It has tree-lined fairways and greens that are hard to read. All putts break an additional two inches towards the water no matter how they are sloped. Robert Muir Graves redesigned the course in 1987. This is a very busy course, so call for the tee time is early.
 
This course accepts tee times and the earliest tee time is six. Driving range is not applicable. This course provides training facilities like putting green, chipping area, teaching professional. Dress code is not applicable. It also provides facilities like restaurant, snack bar, beverage cart and full bar. Morro Bay Golf Course is surrounded by County San Luis Obispo. There are no homes on the course and no golf community.
