Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, Healthland, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive. Mesquite Golf & Country Club is a resort golf course with 18 holes, which is located in Palm Springs, California. It was built in the year 1986 by a famous designer named as Bert Stamps. It is a perfect resort course with water hazards, which come in play on several holes. Its sand bunkers are spread all through the course design. This course is interesting enough to give the golfer a challenge. Its greens grass type is Bermuda grass and its Fairways Grass type is Winter Rye with water hazards. It has got around 11 to 20 sand bunkers and its yardage markers are 200, 150, 100. Open but challenging and picturesque with beautiful flowers, wildlife and a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside, Mesquite Golf & Country Club offers a challenging round of golf for players of all skill levels. The course also provides sufficient variety of terrain to challenge even the most advanced golfer.
