Marbella Country Club
Golf is an outdoor sport, originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, Healthland, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive.
Marbella Country Club is situated at 30800 Golf Club Drive, San Juan Capistrano, California, United States of America. It is a Private Course consisting of 18 holes. This extremely hilly and narrow course features tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. Shot accuracy is a must. There are not many water hazards, but there are a large amount of sand bunkers scattered throughout its design. This course offers breathtaking views of the San Juan Capistrano area. This Course features colored Tees of Gold, Blue, White, Bronze and Red having Yardages of 6583, 6229, 5778, 5484 and 5285 with Slope gradients of 133, 129 and 124 for Course ratings of 72.00, 70.40 and 68.20, respectively.
Marbella Country Club was built in the year 1989 and was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish. This course has a bent grass type for the greens and a Bermuda grass type for the Fairways with water hazards and 61 to 70 sand bunkers. It has yardage markers of 200, 150 and 100 and marked sprinkler heads. Their training facilities provide a putting green and a chipping area with a teaching professional. Spikes are not to be worn and the Course is open to Guests on a reciprocal basis. The clubs are available on a rental basis. There is course access for the electric carts and walking.
