The south course gets more traffic because it is shorter and easier. William P. Bell redesigned the north course in 1928, and Robert Muir Graves redesigned both courses in 1982. The club was built in the year 1921 by designer George C. Thomas, Junior. The greens grass type is bent grass and fairways grass type is bermuda grass. Water hazards along with 41 to 50 sand bunkers are present. Driving range is not applicable. Training facilities like putting green, chipping area, teaching professional are available. Jim Shafer is the on-site golf professional. There is no compulsion for dress code and no provision for discounts. Restaurant, snack bar and full bar is available. Its surrounding area county is Los Angeles, homes on course are present. Los Angeles Country Club course is an all time favorite for all skilled and practioner golfers in California. It is one of the best Golf courses offering the players suitable playing environment. Its best conditions make it favorable for the players to perform, and come up with their best performance.
