Golf is an outdoor sport, originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, Healthland, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive.
 
Las Posas Country Club is situated at 955 Fairway Drive, Camarillo, California, United States of America. It is a private course consisting of 18 holes. This course's design is very streamlined. The mountains adjacent to the course make for a beautiful setting. This club hosts the Taco Bell Classic and the Corey Pavin Tournament annually. This course features tees for men and women having yardages of 6211 and 5642 with slope gradients of 123 and 120 for course ratings of 70.20 and 68.90 respectively. 
 
Las Posas Country Club was built in the year 1958 and was designed by Lawrence Hughes. This course has a poa annua grass type for the greens and kikuya grass type for the Fairways with water hazards and 41 to 50 sand bunkers. It has yardage markers of 200, 150 and 100. Their training facilities provide a putting green and a chipping area with a teaching professional. Spikes are not to be worn and the course is closed to guests. There is course access for the electric carts and walking.
