Hillcrest Country Club

Golf is an outdoor sport, originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Golf is played on a tract of land known as the course which consists of a series of holes or cups. Most golf courses usually consist of nine or eighteen holes. There are several types of golf courses namely Parkland, Links, Healthland, Desert, Browns, Sand, Snow, Par3 and Executive.

Hillcrest Country Club is situated at 10000 W Pico Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, United States of America. It is Private Course consisting of 18 holes. This hilly course may not play exceptionally long, but accurate shotmaking is still at a premium. The terrain is beautiful, featuring many trees lining the fairways. The signature hole is the 365-yard, par 4, number 9, requiring an approach shot to a severely-sloped green which is difficult to read. William F. and William P. Bell designed the back nine in the 1940s, and Robert Muir Graves redesigned six holes in 1974. Caddies are mandatory if you choose to walk the course. This Course features Championship, Regular and Red Tees having Yardages of 6489, 6069 and 5843 with Slope gradients of 122, 115 and 130 for Course ratings of 70.50, 68.70 and 74.60, respectively.

Hillcrest Country Club was built in the year 1920 and was designed by Willie Watson. This Course has a Bent Grass type for the Greens and a Kikuya Grass type for the Fairways with Water Hazards and 31 to 40 Sand Bunkers. It has No Yardage Markers. Their training facilities provide a Putting Green and a Chipping Area with a Teaching Professional. Spikes are not to be worn and the Course is closed to Guests. There no Clubs available on a rental basis, however there are caddies available. There is Course access for the Electric Carts and walking.

Their goal isn't just to make the green, it's to improve the quality of the game. They desire to exceed the needs and expectations of their guests, members and landlords by maintaining superior golf facilities and providing exceptional service at a great value.
