Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. It was built in the year 1996 and designed by a renowned designer Robert Trent Jones. The course features include Bent grass type and Winter Rye fairways with 81 to 90 sand bunkers and sprinkler head markers.
Greenhorn Creek is touted as the finest golf, lodging, and dining experience in the Gold Country. This course was built into the natural terrain of the foothills and offers magnificent views. The course is quite interesting with 5,000 to 17,000 square-feet greens. The wind kicks up in the daytime making proper club selection an important aspect of the game.
