The championship course is a Par 72, 18 holes, measuring 6914 yards with a slope gradient of 124 with a standard scratch score of 748 from the championship tees.This Club is located on the Troia Peninsula, a long, flat and sandy stretch of land across the Sado Estuary which separates the Setubal lagoon from the Atlantic Ocean. In this picturesque location at the tip of the peninsula, lies one of the most attractive and challenging, yet almost unidentified golf course in Portugal. Troia is a true championship layout and has hosted the Portuguese Open, the European Ladies Team Championship and more lately, the 15th International European Amateurs Championship in the year 2002. It is also considered as one of the best in continental Europe and was ranked 25th among the Europe Top 100 Courses by the British magazine Golf World.
