Seignosse Golf Club

Seignosse Golf Club was established in the year 1989 by Architect Robert von Hagge with 18 holes. Seignosse nestles amidst a green pine forest and sand dunes on the Cote d'Argent, stretching over two hundred kilometers of continuous beaches on the Atlantic coast, between Biarritz and the Gironde estuary. In this excellent environment, Mother Nature has provided the perfect environment for golf courses, with a sandy soil requiring almost no reshaping and allowing play even under the wettest conditions. This ultimate environment north of Biarritz has given birth to the Golden Triangle of golf, produced by Hossegor, Moliets-Cote d'Argent and Seignosse, all ranked among the finest golf courses in Europe.
The Seignosse course is a 72 Par, 18 holes, measuring 6705 yards with a slope gradient of 144 with a standard scratch score of 743 from the championship tees.This course is considered as one of the best and most good-looking course in France, both for its imposing setting and its excellent design, work of American architect Robert von Hagge. The plan stretches in the midst of an unspoilt forest bordered by miles of sandy beaches, with the pervading scent of pine trees, cork oaks and sea spray. This exceptional course is ranked amongst the Top 50 courses in continental Europe by British Golf World magazine.
Lodging is available on site at the Seignosse Golf Hotel, built in Louisiana fashion and under the same organization as the golf course, run by Blue Green.
