Laid over rolling terrain, the North course can be quite trying and the very nature of the topography provides for several blind shots from the tees. Combined with the narrow fairways, the several doglegs, the thick rough and highly contoured fairways, the course call for complete precision. The enormous, multi tiered greens are well protected by deep bunkers, although approach shots are always clear and hazards visible.
