Royal Zoute Golf Club was established in 1909. This course contains 36 holes and was designed by Seymour Dunn and Lt. Colonel Allen & Harry S. Colt. A regular stop of the Professional Golfers Association, PGA Europe Tour, this Club nestles between ancient dunes, lush pine groves and heather in the special residential district of Het Zoute, in the seaside resort of Knokke-Heist on the Dutch border. It is one of Belgium foremost golf clubs and Europe best links courses.
 
This club has two courses that include Championship course and Inner Course. After the original layout by Seymour Dunn was shattered during World War II, British Lt. Colonel Allen created a new championship course and a par 64 Inner Course in 1945. This fine championship course extends amidst ancient dunes, lush pine groves and thick heather. It is an easy going course with fine weather, but a terrifying challenge when the wind starts blowing. Greens are well contoured and ingeniously defended by strategically placed bunkers. Lt. Colonel Allen also created a new par 64 Inner Course in 1945. This shorter, par 64 course extends down the fairways of its championship sister layout and shares essentially the same splendid natural environment and climatic conditions.
