Milano Golf Club

Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society.

Founded in 1928, Milano Golf Club was at that time the only course in the Milan area and one of the few in Italy. The course is laid out through the majestic setting of the Park of Monza, former seat of the Austrian Empire, and next to the well-known racing track. Milano is a very traditional club with a great history and it has been the site of the Italian Open on six occasions between 1952 and 1990. This championship layout is considered as one of the best in Europe and was ranked by British golf Magazine Golf World among the Top 20.

The championship course is a Par 72, 18 holes, measuring 7017 yards with a standard scratch score of 73 from the championship tees.Over a flat terrain, Peter Gannon and Cecil Blandford laid out a grand parkland layout, where the fairways are lined by regal, mature trees that create both a feeling of isolation and a formidable line of defense for stray hitters. The course is also dotted with a great number of bunkers, tactically placed to defend the average sized greens. These are softly contoured and completely groomed.

Milano Golf Club is one of the premier and superior golf courses that also offers the best hotels and the best features at the best prices. One can start their first golf experience here and can accomplish all expectations for the sport in all dimensions along with great sporting skills.
