Le Golf National (Albatros course)
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society. Le Golf National (Albatros course) was established in 1990 with 45 holes and was designed by the architect, Hubert Chesneau. At the outskirts of Paris and a stone throw away from the royal town of Versailles and its famous castle, the French Golf Federation has concentrated in one place a host of golfing facilities. These comprise a championship course, full practice facilities, a nine hole course, a classical 18 hole course, the Golf National Academy and a hotel run by the Novotel-Accor group. The championship course is a Par 72, 18 holes, measuring 128 yards having a slope gradient 142 from the championship tees. The Albatross course is a combination course where US style target golf alternates with characteristic links holes. This course is very long and demanding but offers five different tees with a difference of slightly less than 2,000 yards between the championship and the ladies tees. This course is ranked 4th amongst European courses by British golf magazine Golf World. Le Golf National (Albatros course) is one of the premier and superior golf courses that also offers the best hotels and the best features at the best prices. One can start their first golf experience here and can accomplish all expectations for the sport in all dimensions along with great sporting skills.
