Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. The club was designed by Architect Harry S. Colt, Alison and Morrison. Eindhovensche Golf Club lies in the southern wooded outskirts of Eindhoven, halfway between the city and the border with Belgium. Extending in wonderful surroundings through a wonderful forest with streams and ponds, the course has well separated fairways, providing players with plenty of isolation and tranquility to enjoy their round and concentrate on their game. This par 72 course has 18 holes measuring 6,176 meters or 6,757 yards with a slope gradient of 122 for a standard scratch score of 70.5 from the championship tees. Designed by Harry S. Colt and remodeled in 1985, Eindhoven is one of Holland’s best inland courses. Extending through a wonderful forest with streams and ponds, the fairways are nevertheless quite broad for a woodland layout and somewhat keep the trees at bay. This wooded setting also provide for well separated, giving the player plenty of isolation and tranquility to enjoy their round and concentrate on their game. There are no buggies, but the course is nearly totally flat and golfer will have to play this course the conventional way. Eindhoven provides a nice walk in the woods and an exciting round of golf. Although a private club, Eindhoven welcomes visitors with a maximum of 36 during the week and 24 on weekends. Eindhoven can nicely be combined with playing another top layout in the region.
