Bogogno Golf Club

Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society.

Bogogno Golf Club was established in 1996 with 36 holes. This course is designed by Architect Robert von Hagge. Rodolfo Molo is the president of the club. Stretching through woods, lakes and streams, both layouts enjoy superb views over the majestic, snow capped peak of the Alps and Monte Rosa, looming in the distance. This par 72 course has 18 holes measuring 6,284 meters or 6,875 yards for a standard scratch score of 72 from the championship tees.

The new Bonora course has been opened for play in 2000 and provides an ideal complement to the Del Conte course, also designed by Robert von Hagge. Bonora combines nine holes of the original course with nine new and more difficult holes. The course was laid out over flatfish and open terrain, running in and out of the wooded area of the estate and allowing players sights of superb scenery. Two small streams winding round various holes and numerous lakes both decorate the layout and provide water hazards. Although a tough proposition to the average golfer, Bonora has no hidden traps and will always rewards good shots. Caddies are available on request and buggies are available.

At Bogogno Golf Club, their goal is not to merely make the green but also to improve the quality of the game. They focus to exceed the needs and expectations of their members, guests and landlords by maintaining superior golf facilities and providing exceptional service at a great value.
